We may amend this Privacy Policy at our sole discretion and any updates to the same shall be reflected by way of a notification on the Website/Mobile Application. Your continued usage of the Website/Mobile Application shall indicate your acceptance of the amended terms of the Privacy Policy. During the course of provision of Services, we shall collect personal and financial information from you. All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be sold, shared, rented, or leased to any third parties.

We may be required to share the financial information with third party payment gateways who shall process payment for the Services through their servers. Failure by a payment gateway to process the payment or transaction shall not make the Company liable to pay for any losses or claims with respect to such failure.

At Shyft, we take your privacy very seriously and will take all measures to protect the personal information that you provide us. Any personal information received will be used only to register you as a Shyft customer and for future marketing purposes directly from Shyft.

We will not sell or redistribute your information to any third parties unless it is required in compliance with law or absolutely required in order for us to provide Services, but we are not responsible for your personal information during your direct dealings with listed Partners on our Mobile Application or Website.

Some of the advertisements you see on our site may be from third parties. Please note that we are not responsible for any information that these third parties collect from the site or from other websites, through cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to understand your interest deliver advertisements to you. This includes information you provide when you register to use our Website, register to use our Mobile Application, subscribe to our service, search for a product, place a booking on our Website, place a booking on our Mobile Application, participate in discussion boards or other social media functions on our Website, enter a competition, query form, promotion or survey, when you report a problem with our Website and when you report a problem with our Mobile Application. We may ask further questions (for example, security questions) and collect information from your previous bookings.

Identity data: first name, last name, country of residence, nationality;
Contact and preference data: e-mail address and phone number, your preferences for marketing;
Financial data: payment card details*, billing address, purchase information- All your payment details can be stored under an encrypted token, available for your use only when you choose to make a purchase.;
Flight data: flight number, flight timing and/or departure and arrival airports;
Baggage data: luggage quantity, description of your luggage, weight of your luggage baggage contents and personal effects, value of baggage contents, and/or hotel or other address information and other applicable information which we may reasonably require and request to evaluate and process your request for our services.
Photographic data: Photographs of bags and images of passport or national ID we made and used for co-operating with relevant security requirements.
Troubleshooting data: Details of any errors which you have chosen to send to us.

Note* – All credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will NOT be sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.

We may be required to share personal/financial information with (i) third party payment gateways for the purposes of processing the transactions and payments on the Website/Application; (ii) third party entities who partner or collaborate with us to provide Services to you.

Location Services

To participate as a Shyft Pilot, you must permit the Shyft Pilot Services to access location services through the permission system used by your mobile operating system (“Platform”) or browser. We may collect the precise location of your device when the Shyft Pilot app is running in the foreground or background of your device. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address. We use your location information to verify that you are present in your preferred region or city when you begin or engage in a delivery through the Shyft Go Services (a “Delivery”), connect you with delivery opportunities in your zone, and track the progress and completion of your Deliveries. You can enable the location tracking feature through the settings on your device or Platform or when prompted by the Shyft Pilot mobile app. If you choose to disable the location feature through the settings on your device or Platform, Shyft Pilot App will not receive precise location information from your device, which will prevent you from being able to Trip and receive delivery opportunities in your area.

Cookies

We may collect information about your computer, including where your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual.

For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our Mobile Application and to deliver a better and more personalised service.

They enable us:

To estimate our audience size and usage pattern.
To store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customise our Mobile Application according to your individual interests.
To speed up your searches.
To recognise you when you return to our Mobile Application.
